The Tote Bag

The bag. Natural linen with navy PU leather trim, measuring 24 inches across the top, 20 inches across the base, 15 inches tall, and 6 inches deep (61 × 51 × 38 × 15.5 cm). Roomy enough for a full mahjong set, sized to look like a tote you would carry on any ordinary Tuesday.

The closure. A gold detail metal buckle clasp at the top.

The inside. Lined in a navy and white striped polyester. One open pocket on one side, one zippered pocket on the other, each 8 inches wide and 6 inches deep.

The base. Structured and rigid, so the bottom holds its shape. Metal gold detail studs on the underside let it rest on the ground without the bag taking the wear.

Built to hold up. The PU leather edging reinforces the corners and the handles, the rivets spread the weight across the base rather than concentrating it, and the linen is breathable and wrinkle-resistant, so the bag keeps its shape over the long run.

Cleaning. Hand wash only. Spot clean the linen with a soft cloth, cool water, and a small amount of mild soap, blotting rather than scrubbing. Wipe the navy trim with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry it right away.

Please avoid. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean. Do not soak or submerge the bag, and do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners on the PU leather trim, which can dull or crack the finish.

Drying. Air dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Let the bag dry fully upright so the structured base keeps its shape.

Storing. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, out of prolonged direct sunlight. Store it upright rather than folded or crushed under heavier things.

Good to expect. Natural linen softens and settles with use. That is the material behaving the way linen does, not wearing out.

Creases upon arrival are normal and expected. Linen creases in transit, and yours will show some folds from packing. They relax on their own. The fastest way to help them along is to fill the bag with what you plan to carry and drape it by its straps over the back of a chair for a day or two. The weight does the work.

Small variation is normal. Natural linen varies in texture and tone from batch to batch, so slight differences between bags are a normal part of the material rather than a flaw.

Colors on your screen. Screens vary, so the exact linen and navy may sit a little differently in person.

Sold on its own. The Tote Bag does not include tiles, racks, a mat, or the tile storage case. It is designed to pair with The Grove Collection Tile Set, and roomy enough to carry the whole suite of products.
