The Grove Collection Tile Set

The tiles. 160 tiles in premium acrylic, built in four layers: a white face where the hand-drawn artwork lives, over dark navy, red, and powder blue. Each tile measures 32 × 23 × 16 mm (about 1.26 × 0.91 × 0.63 in), with softly rounded edges made to be shuffled.

The finish. Every design is gloss-embossed, not engraved, for a raised, tactile surface you can feel under your thumb. Built and tested like something meant to outlast the table it's played on. The unique embossed designs went through engineering-grade wear testing for chipping, flaking, and scratching, and came through clean. Because a set you pass down shouldn't wear like one you don't.

The guide cards. Four cards, not one flimsy shared sheet. Each is printed on premium 16pt stock in A7 size (5 × 7 in), with a matte finish on both sides that stays subtle and cuts glare at the table. One for every player, sized to sit beside your National Mah Jongg League card without crowding the game.

The dice. Two blue acrylic dice, six faces, 16 × 16 mm.

The dice pouch. A navy velvet pouch, 5 × 7 cm, that pulls closed at the sides.

Your Marelle tiles are made to last for years of play. A little care keeps them that way.

Cleaning. Wipe tiles gently with a soft, barely damp cloth, the way you would clean a phone screen, then dry them with a separate soft cloth. For a stubborn mark, use a tiny amount of mild soap on the cloth rather than on the tile. Never spray anything directly onto a tile.

Please avoid. Do not soak or submerge the tiles in water. Do not use alcohol, hand sanitizer, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can dull the finish or damage the surface. Do not use a mechanical tile shuffler, which can wear the surface over time; mix by hand.

Storing. Keep your set in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Prolonged sun and heat can fade or weaken any acrylic tile over time, so keep them out of hot cars, attics, and sunny windowsills. Store them in their case rather than under heavy objects.

Good to expect. Light surface marks that come with years of shuffling are normal, and they mean a set that has been well loved. Cared for this way, your tiles are made to be passed down.

Made by hand, so a little variation is part of it. Because every set's design step is done by hand on my own machinery, tiny variations from tile to tile and set to set are normal. They are the fingerprint of something made rather than mass-produced, not a flaw.
